Where does your project
need RF expertise?
Support for the design decisions, integration challenges, performance questions and EMC testing your team is working through.
Before you commit to a design
RF architecture
& design review
Review requirements, RF budgets and design assumptions before moving into implementation.
What you take forward
Findings, technical risks and prioritised recommendations for your design decisions.
When RF meets product constraints
Antenna &
RF integration
Examine how the antenna and RF design fit your product, and identify the analysis or validation work needed.
What you take forward
Integration recommendations and a focused simulation or measurement plan.
When performance falls short
RF troubleshooting
& measurement support
Investigate performance that differs from expectations by examining the design and measurement evidence.
What you take forward
Diagnostic findings and recommended next investigations to help your team move forward.
Preparing for EMC tests or resolving test issues
EMC & compliance
support
Investigate emissions and immunity issues, review grounding, shielding and layout, and support pre-compliance testing and certification preparation.
What you take forward
An investigation or test plan, design recommendations and clear next steps for testing and certification preparation.

Scope, deliverables and availability are agreed for each project.
My background spans RF system architecture, RF and microwave design, antennas, electromagnetic simulation, laboratory measurement and certification.
I hold a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Porto. My professional experience includes research at INESC TEC, antenna and hardware work at INVOLI, and RF design, certification and system architecture at Sonova.
Working together
A clear scope.
A practical next step.
Start with the engineering challenge. Define the work, required inputs and deliverables before making a commitment.
- 01
Discuss the challenge
Share your product, development stage and the RF question you need to resolve.
- 02
Agree the scope
Clarify inputs, deliverables, availability, and access to any tools, hardware or facilities the work requires.
- 03
Carry out the agreed work
Review the evidence, investigate within scope and document findings, uncertainties and recommendations.
